P/S Alarms

010A unusable G code was commanded. (The alarm is generated also when a G code with which the control is not equipped as an option is commanded).
011Feed rate was not commanded at cutting feed or the feed rate was inadequate
015The number of the commanded axes exceeded that of the allowable simultaneously controlled axis
017The move commanded of the additional axis was commanded without equipping with an optional additional axis.
018An additional axis was commanded with the other axis simultaneously.
021The axis not included in the selected plane (by using G17, G18, G19) was commanded in circular interpolation.
022In circular interpolation, radius designation was performed in the NC which is not equipped with the radius designation option.
023In circular interpolation by radius designation, Zero was commanded for address R.
030The tool offset number is too large for the D or H function.
031In setting of offset amount by G10, The offset number following address P was excessive or it was not specified.
032In setting of offset amount by G10, the offset amount was excessive.

416X axis pulse coder position feedback is abnormal. (Disconnection alarm)
420The content of the error register of the Y axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is stopped
421The content of the error register of the Y axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is moving
422Drift in Y axis is excessive. (Exceeds 500VELO)
423The content of the error register of the Y axis exceeded =32767. Or the velocity command value of the DA converter is out of the range of +8191~ – 8192. Incorrect settings will cause this alarm
424The DSCG position detecting system of the Y axis is trouble
425A feed rate exceeding 511875 detection units/sec was commanded in the Y axis. An incorrect setting of CMR causes this error
426Y axis Fanuc pulse coder position feedback is abnormal. (Disconnection alarm)
430The content of the error register of the Z axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is stopped
431The content of the error register of the Z axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is moving
432Drift in Z axis is excessive. (Exceeds 500VELO)

Servo Alarms 1/2

403 SERVO ALARM: CARD/SOFT MISMATCH The combination of the axis control card and servo software is illegal.
404 SERVO ALARM: n-TH AXIS VRDY ON Even though the n-th axis (axis 1-8) READY signal (MCON) went off the servo amplifier READY signal (DRDY) is still on. Or when the power as turned on, DRDY went on even though MCON was off.
405 SERVO ALARM: (ZERO POINT RETURN FAULT)Position control system fault.
407 SERVO ALARM: EXCESS ERRORThe following error occurred during simple synchronous control: The difference in machine coordinates between the synchronized axes exceeds the value set in parameter No 8314.
409 SERVO ALARM: n AXIS TORQUE ALARMAbnormal servo motor load has been detected. Alternatively abnormal spindle motor load has been detected in C’s mode.
410 SERVO ALARM: n-TH AXIS EXCESS ERROROne of the following errors occurred:

  1. The positional deviation value when the n-th axis stops exceeds the value set in parameter No 1820.
  2. In simple synchronous control, the compensation amount for the synchronization exceeds the value set in parameter No 8325.
411 SERVO ALARM: n-TH AXIS EXCESS ERRORThe position deviation value when the n-th axis ( axis 1-8) moves is larger than the set value.
413 SERVO ALARM: n-TH LSI OVERFLOWThe contents of the error register for  the n-th axis ( axis 1-8) exceeded + or -2 power 31. This error occurs as the result of improperly  set parameters.
415 SERVO ALARM: n-TH AXIS EXCESS SHIFTA speed higher than 524288000 unit/s was attempted to be set in the n-th axis ( axis 1-8). This error occurs as the result of improperly set CMR.
417 SERVO ALARM: n-TH AXIS PARAMETER INCORRECTThis alarm occurs when the n-th axis ( axis 1-8) is in one of the conditions listed below:

  1. The value set in Parameter No. 2020 is out of the specified limit.
  2. A proper value (111 0r -111) is not set in parameter No 2022.
  3. Illegal data ( a value below 0, etc) was set in parameter No 2023.
  4. Illegal data ( a value below 0, etc) was set in parameter No 2024.
  5. Parameters No 2084 and No 2085 have not been set.
  6. A value outside the limit of {1 to the number of control axes} or a non continuous value (Parameter 1023 contains a value out of the range from 1 to the number of axes, or an isolated value was set in parameter no 1023.
  7. A torque control parameter is set incorrectly in PMC axis control.
420 SERVO ALARM: n AXIS EXCESS SYNC TORQUEDuring simple synchronous control, the difference between the torque commands for the master and slave axes exceeded the value set in parameter NO 2031.
421 SERVO ALARM: n AXIS EXCESS ER(D)The difference between the errors in the semi closed loop and closed loop has become excessive during dual position feedback.
422 SERVO ALARM: n AXISIn torque control of PMC axis control, a specified allowable speed has been exceeded.
423 SERVO ALARM: n AXISIn torque control of PMC axis control, the parameter set allowable cumulative travel distance has been exceeded.
430 n-AXIS : SV. MOTOR OVERHEATA servo motor overheat occured.
431n-AXIS : CNV. OVERLOAD1. PSM: Overheat occured.

459HI HRV SETTING ERROROf two axes having adjacent servo axis numbers (parameter No 1023), odd number and even number, high speed HRV control can be performed for one axis and not for the other.
460n AXIS: FSSB DISCONNECT FSSB Communication was disconnected suddenly.
461n AXIS: ILLEGAL AMP INTERFACEThe axes of the 2-axis amplifier were assigned to the fast type interface.
462n AXIS: SEND CNC DATA FAILEDBecause of of an FSSB communication error, a slave could not receive correct data.
463n AXIS: SEND SLAVE DATA FAILEDBecause of of an FSSB communication error, the servo system could not receive correct data.
464n AXIS: WRITE ID DATA FAILED An attempt was made to write maintenance information on the amplifier maintenance screen, but it failed.
465n AXIS: READ ID DATA FAILED At power-up, amplifier initial ID information could not be read.
466n AXIS: MOTOR/AMP COMBINATION The maximum current rating for the amplifier does not match the motor.
467n AXIS: ILLEGAL SETTING OF AXIS The servo function for the following has not been enabled when an axis occupying a single DSP is specified ion the axis setting screen.
468HI HRV SETTING ERROR (AMP)Use of high speed HRV is specified for a controlled axis of an amplifier which does not support high speed HRV.

Overheat Alarms

Serial Spindle Alarms

749S-SPINDLE LSI ERRORIt is serial communication error while system is executing after power supply on.
750SPINDLE SERIAL LINK START FAULTThe alarm is generated when the spindle control unit is not ready for starting correctly when the power is turned on in the system with the serial spindle.
752FIRST SPINDLE MODE CHANGE FAULTThis alarm is generated if the system does not properly terminate a mode change. The modes include the Cs contouring , spindle positioning, rigid tapping, and spindle control modes. The alarm is activated if the spindle control unit does not respond  correctly to the mode change command issued by the NC.
754SPINDLE 1 ABNORMAL TORQUE ALMAbnormal first spindle motor load has been detected.
762SECOND SPINDLE MODE CHANGE FAULTRefer to alarm No 752 for 2nd axis.
764SPINDLE 2 ABNORMAL TORQUE ALMSame as alarm No 754 for the second spindle.
