Normally this input output board supports the machine interface and interacts with the ladder to make sure that all the switching throughout the machine is working according to the ladder. Running the FS-21M or 21T config in which this I/O interfaces between the NC and the MC.
This board was designed to run with any spindle and servo interfaces including digital, serial and rarely analogue configurations.
