Fanuc A290-0501-V535 encoder coupling. This plastic ABS coupling is known by many names referencing its function as a mechanical interconnect. Such as oldham coupling or its more traditional name of dog. Though a dog is normally associated with earlier Fanuc DC motors; seems apt as it does exactly the same. The DOG connects the servo pulse coder too the motor shaft for rotational count.

At DNC we have repaired Fanuc servo motors for decades. Further we have retrofitted and stripped hundreds of machine tools; gaining parts such as these dogs. Currently we have well in excess of 250 of the A2900501V535 encoder couplings.

This type is fitted between associated red cap encoders and their AC, S, ALPHA, ai and BETA i servo motor brethren.
