FANUC S SERIES AC SERVO MOTOR

The S series AC motors from Fanuc are red capped and succeed the first generation AC servo motors. There have been over 5 million Fanuc AC servo motors sold by 2003, the S series servo motor range was a strong contributor to that number of sales (also made up of early AC and Alpha servo motors; as well Beta servo motors and later Alpha I servo motors). c.1990-1996 model 1-0SP, 0S, 5S, 10S, 20S, 20S/3000, 30S are the main series that the motor shop specialise in. There are many variations amongst these there are very many variations from different types of shaft, encoder feedback, whether or not it has a brake.
